Almost seeing it as a problem in 'mis-en-scene', Raban wanted to transform the sculpture by the use of a single light source.
The integral sound of the sculpture was that of dripping water, as Haselden had plumbed a water system as part of the installation. Raban made an initial rough recording which he transformed through electronic manipulation.
