The images in this video are edited to the complete CD sound track of "Film" by Jessica Lauren. The original idea is to create an image track to accompany the sound, thus turning the image sound bias on its head.

Using the telecine machine as a creative tool in itself, mostly concentrating on the film gate, passing colour gels and montage film loops as one would use a film contact printer. Editing on Avid has further brought different aesthetics to the original 16mm footage which is taken from earlier work and other previously filmed images. This piece can be shown in a cinema or expanded cinema context or in nightclubs, where the audience is not bound to sitting.
