This piece is slow moving and hence very meditative.
Installed Film 1 is a video projection of moving images in sequence, which is seen on a wall and also reflected into a square enclosure of shallow still water in a waterproof black background. As the viewer comes close, the water appears to be a bottomless pit, an abyss. As the blue and white, cold Norwegian landscape moves slowly across, eventually this meditation is interrupted by quick and sporadic shots of husky dogs running past. Filmed close up, the immediacy of the animal plays on the landscape's distance. Sometimes the image of landscape runs on the vertical line, appearing as an almost x-ray spinal form.
