Haselden created the installation with paper rolls which he found in a paper factory in East London. He developed a machine that would project a spiral of this paper into the gallery space, often to a point of collapse because of the increasing weight.
With the paper work Ron Haselden attempted to do something near impossible. He was taking a risk to produce something extraordinary. Because of the investigative nature of the work and the way he was projecting the paper, it was doomed to fail. The roll of paper would only go so far.
