A very early installation work juxtaposing the strains of three performers: a poet, a dancer and a boxer.
Pointing inward, each monitor reflects the images of the others. At the start of the ten-minute cycle a pair of hands appears knotting a piece of rope as if trying to bind the performers together. Each performer seeks to present and sustain some sense of presence and physical authority. The interrelation of the three, the repetitive use of actions and the visual disruption from opposing screens, suggest a struggle for predominance.
