It explores a simple permutative relationship between two film loops (printed as a continuous film).
One loop is composed of a set of film sequences, chosen for their semantic aspects, and the way in which the movement occurred within the sequence. The other loop is a 'travelling matte' or mask made up by punching holes in the same kind of film as is used in 'Spot the Microdot'. The two loops are of different lengths, so that they can always come up in different relationship with each other, combining the abstract rhythmic event with the semantic, associative one.
