A film made entirely with typewriter ribbon.
Film stock and typewriter ribbon were laid together and hand wound through a pic synch under a light bulb. The traces of words punched in the typewriter tape appeared in negative form and by making small shifts from frame to frame, became a form of archeological record. Through this process the original meanings are displaced.
This became part of the later film Light Reading.
