"Almost Out is a confrontation/statement with fragments of dialogue between a mother, a daughter and a cameraman. I film my mother in a studio. She is naked. She can see her image in a monitor. I want to see my mother as she really is but I don't know how to look at her. When I try to imagine filming her I only see words. She lets me film her because I am her daughter." - JP
