The Journey

A train journey forms the basis for a personal daydream.

The Journey takes as its starting point a film cliche which is then developed ironically. In the journey it is the travelogue which forms the basis for another personal daydream. The classic situation of the ''strangers on a train'', a man and a woman sitting opposite each other near enough for their knees almost to touch, yet each sealed off from the other as effectively as the window of the compartment seals them off from the world outside.
