Mineshaft Guy Sherwin 2006 1 minute endless loop b/w Optical sound 16 mm installation for 16mm film loop and optical sound

A 16mm installation using found footage shot from a wagon travelling down a mineshaft. A loop of film from the projector runs through a pulley attached to the top of the screen so that its shadow interrupts the image. We hear the sound of metal wheels on metal track. First shown at Les Voutes Paris 2006.
