Clock Screen Guy Sherwin 2007 16 mm installation for 16 mm projector, film loop, clock and paper screen

Time-lapse film of shifting sunlight is projected onto a rotating screen attached to the hand of a clock.

A 16mm projector on the floor of the gallery projects a loop of film onto a small tracing-paper screen, suspended from the hand of the clock. We see a shaft of sunlight change its shape as a result of earth and screen revolving.
