My Blood Self is a new body of work based on the idea of an editorial fashion shoot that references imagery of genocide and substandard poverty, juxtaposed with historical images from the Egyptian and Mesoamerica civilizations.
This black and white video is a homage to seventies studio performances by Nauman, Acconci, Jonas etc... and re-examines the relationship between the artist and the viewer by using the camera as a mirror.
