A child trudges through fresh, white snow, accompanied by an adult man.
The mother remains indoors; mistrusting, anxious and unesasy at finding herself unable to control or monitor the child's discovery of this new landscape. The landscape becomes threatening - not to the child's eye, but through the watching eye of the camera which adopts the point of view of the fearful mother.
