Duet between projectionist and performer with light the medium.
Continuous line of text appers across screen. Someone is asked to read an identical text with their back to the screen. They are asked to keep in sync with the projected text by means of filmic clues from the projectionist. If the person reads too fast a hand over the lens prevents the light from reaching the screen and they are forced to stop reading because it is too dark. If they are too slow the projectionist freezes a frame until they catch up with the words on the screen.
